This decorative antique victorian egg is made of a gold tone metal. One of the three mother of pearl leaves is missing. The egg itself is hinged and latches. 2"L x 1 1/4"H is the size of the egg. The egg has a fly on it and two bangles off the edge of it. The body of the egg has a leaf design embossed on it. The metal appears to be a brass/copper combination. The egg itself sits on a twisted rope stand with a beautiful victorian lady hand. This collector inserted a small egg as pictured inside marked China. The stand is 4 1/2"W and 5"H. circa late 1800's Victorian era
